OC Seminar/Saturday 1-29-11 3:00pm@Taylor Gander Mtn.

We will be presenting a seminar on Open Carry at the Gander Mountain in Taylor MI on Saturday, January 29 at 3:00pm. We understand weekdays are tough for some people so we are coming back on the weekend. We hope to see you and your friends come out! Don't forget, MOC offers $5 discounts on our Standard and Family memberships when you join at one of our seminars! We will also have 2010 M.O.C. Commorative Coins for $10 and T-shirts for $15.

Seminars are a presentation of information and laws on the legality of Open Carry in Michigan.  If you attend, you will learn, ask questions, and enjoy the company of each other, nothing else is required of your attendance.  Happiness is key to Saturdays, and questions are key to learning.  The seminars have been great for teaching the public about what we do and why we do it, as well as for bringing in new members.

I live in a secret, desolate, snow entrenched far away land called the Upper Peninsula.  Makes for a long trip to these types of events.  I hope to make the annual spring membership meeting again, as I did in the previous year, but other events would be too costly and time consuming.  I do, however, hope you make it, and also that you enjoy it as well.

i regret to inform u all but i will not be attending the seminar due to a work day for my militia unit and it has to get done

We had another fantastic event in Taylor! A total of 50 attendees with 13 new members signed up! It looks like we need to put Taylor on a quarterly event rotation...every time we come, downriver folks show up in force. Thanks to everyone who attended and those who come out to help.
