Yea Joe! Felt good afterward I know! I enjoyed our conversation. It was great to meet ya today. Now I can call ya friend! I liked your buddy George too... Great stories...lol... Even got some time with my Uncle Warchild and Cuz too... We will do it again some time soon.

I also oced today...Started the day by going to the elementary school to vote. I was a bit nervous... I got out of the car and turned on my recorder, walked inside, went to the check in table, filled out my papers, went and placed my vote... Done... No problems, just a bunch of looks... All nervous for nothing. I even got my "I voted" sticker. Later went to Meijer with my Daughter, no problems. Then on to Toms Coney Cafe in Flint to meet with new friends and family.... Great day to be a free American!

Open carried into the Douglas Water Condition store for some salt. The lady clerk made a comment about not seeing a handgun too often. I mentioned to her that I was carrying in the high school, last Tues. for voting. I told her that no one said a thing. She said that they were probably too scared to speak up. Carried next at the Mobil station. Going north tomorrow. The orange invasion.

On April 24, 2011, Easter Sunday morning.......

Two things here #1 If  you are planning a 1983 Federal action, and you should in my opinion. Then please don't post anymore info about this and delete your posts about this if you can still (time limit).

#2 Crap like this only highlights exactly why a member defense fund is needed.

"It is now more likely that a person will be the victim of a violent crime than that he will be in an auto accident. Despite this, most people readily believe that the existence of the police relieves them of the responsibility to take full measures to protect themselves."

I'm afraid I'm going to have to call BS on this one. There's a little missing from the story. And a little embellishment also.

On the surface, this would seem to be a prime example for the need of a legal fund. But I believe support would drop off rapidly once ALL of the facts were revealed.

I can't believe it, I can see what Pat is saying and can agree.  I think he also left a post on MOC's Facebook Page.

I'm confused.  If his CPL was suspended, and he was carrying inside his car (which is why he was arrested, correct?), what's the problem?  He wasn't notified?  The suspension was in error and he is due damages?

RELATED RANT: some people complain about spelling and grammar, stating they are not important.  Down with grammar Nazis!  Who cares if you write "it's" when you should have written "its," right?  I propose this is precisely why.  People who are careless, or clueless, about writing have no idea that what they are writing is less than clear to the reader.

The OP certainly wrote a lot of words, but a lot of people are still confused.  Spelling, grammar, and writing a clear narrative are things covered in elementary and middle school.  This isn't even high school material.  Yet here we are confused and debating it.  Sad.

Need to start a new thread and title it "we all agreed with Pat today" or something, getting out of hand, as I also agree with him on the issue at hand.  On an unrelated issue, if you wish to correct my spelling and grammer, understand its my fat and slow fingers trying to keep up with my expediently quick mind, honest.

Stopped in to my local Speedway the other night. fueled up and went inside to buy my fiance a chocolate pie for her lunch, The kid (yeah I'm an old fart now, these teens and early 20's people all look 12 years old to me" says to his friend who is hanging out near the counter "I always feel safer when some one comes in carrying like that, but its still kinda weird cause you don't see it all the time" I said " I do, every where I go that its legal" it took him a second but then I saw the light go on and he chuckled  ;D
Why do you carry that handgun every place you go? Cause it's lighter than my shotgun.

Open carried in Caseville this past week. A local restaurant for breakfast, the local IGA store, and the Riverside Roadhouse bar for a great hamburger and steak fries. The bartender spotted me as soon as I entered the bar. He stared at my rosco with a serious, no expression look. A lady patron also gave me a serious look. Nothing came of any of this, which was fine with me. I'm betting I'm the first to enter as such.
