What holster for Kimber
« on: May 11, 2011, 08:51:47 PM »
I am new to OC.  Have been carrying my Kimber Aluminum Stainless Compact in a Hume JIT.  I read about retention holsters.  What works best for the officer sized 1911?

Having seen what plastic holsters can do to even the hardiest of gun finishes in a short period, I have stayed away from them.

I do find the ALS with a suede lining to be interesting though.

Looking at the Bianchi Carry-lok.  Has anyone had experience with these?
