I'm sorry I missed this.  How did everything go?  A resounding success I hope!

Great turn out. Thanks to the good folk from the Capitol area Militia who came along. We all had a great time.

Thanks to all that came out, some familiar faces and some new.  We had about 25 people from 6 months up to 60.  Thanks to the Q for organizing and cooking the dogs.

Some people brought some great home cooked food.  Those apple thingys were great.  I know some folks wandered through the city market to get drinks and goodies.  No one fished, but a couple of fishermen floated by kayaks and landed a couple of fish in front of our group.

The weather was warm, but a breeze and clouds made it bearable.  Afterward a few of us went to Jimmy John's to cool off with AC and a pop and discussed all the problems in our county.  No solutions were agreed upon.

All in all a nice time.

Good to see everybody. We should do it again before the summer ends. ;D
"It is now more likely that a person will be the victim of a violent crime than that he will be in an auto accident. Despite this, most people readily believe that the existence of the police relieves them of the responsibility to take full measures to protect themselves."
