Gun shops that don't allow OC - huh?

I was running around today in an attempt to pick up a cheep holster and I noticed that both Firingline and Action Impact don't allow OC in their stores?

I'm not exactly sure why a gun store would do this?

Are there any other gun stores that do not allow open carry?

I live in the Novi area; if I want to give my buisness to a OC friendly gunshop, where do I go?

has anyone from MOC ever tried to talk to these owners and get them to change thier policy?

Yes many times... they are run by LEO's and they are not interested in changing period!

Peter's Gun/Range shop on Gratiot in Roseville has a "No Open Carry" sign on their window, yet when you go in the guys behind the counter were proud to show off their "pieces". I was extremely irritated at this and my only guess is that they want to show off an act like they can be the only tough guys in there with a gun, when in reality the majority of people in there are carrying. Open or CC what does it matter, we all have guns on us! Are they afraid of it? Just a power trip is my thinking.  :-\

It doesn't always... but trust me those two locations are not likely to change... people have been trying for the last four years to no avail!
