How to: Educating a police department.

First time posting here with moc.  I am active on ocdo and mgo. 

I had a recent incident with a city of lapeer officer for allegedly open carrying in a school zone. 

After it is determined that there will be no charges, what is the best way to approach the chief.  I would like the responses in pm to keep them off the public forum.
