two armed robbers thwarted by TWO armed patrons. One dead bad guy. hope other "evildoers" see this and think twice.

Uh...yeah for the good guy.  :) . But shame on the news writer for this story.

(1) Automatic = squeeze trigger & multiple rounds fired. No doubt this was a SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL ::)

(2) He emptied all the bullets from the 'clip' :o! Unless this was a "mi pistol" of the M1 Garand type, I'm sure the writer meant MAGAZINE! ???

Bad enough the news constantly spins the truth, but then to foster the use of incorrect terminology is just sloppy writing in my humble opinion.
