Unfortunately I have a prior commitment at that time.

I have dinner reservations with my wife on the east side then but I'll be sure to go to Starbucks at least twice during the day.   I am going to try and get some $2 bills at the bank tomorrow to use for tips.

gryphon,

I hope you don't mind but I liked your picure and I really liked the wording of your message to the Starbucks Manager..... So, I "plagerized it" and  I converted it to a pdf file that if you are clever you can print it on both sides and make little folding cards from it.  I plan to hit several Starbucks in the Grand Rapids area with it on Tuesday.

If you object to my borrowing your words please let me know and I will remove this posting.

I am going to pick a location either in Roseville or in New Baltimore. If one or two people want to hang out, hit me up. I'm thinking of making a sign to hold on the sidewalk. Something like "guns (picture) give us the freedom to choose what coffee we drink. I wonder if the store manager would let me just open a tab? Everyone make sure to save your receipts! Imagine if we could coordinate a sinlge mailing to their headquarters just to say thanks. Even though they don't choose the "fight" we can still thank them for their decision.

jeffsayers, let me know which one you are going to.

That's not my creation. Someone else did that, but feel free to use or change it to suit your needs.   :)

Thanks.  I "attached" the pdf file to my last post.  I'm going to print up a couple and leave in the tip jar.    :)

I will be at the Starbucks with the biggest pistol I own to show support.  The are located at Crescent Lake Rd. and M-59. Will be there for the lunch crowd.

http://www.theepochtimes.com/n2/united-states/victims-group-to-boycott-starbucks-over-firearms-186110.html

The group calling for the boycott is claiming 12,000 gun homicides a year. I wonder how many of those were open carriers. That number seems low when compared to other things. I wonder how many doctors made mistakes that caused a death last year? How many people died in drunk driving accidents? How many died from tobacco induced illnesses? In 2008 there were 1.21 million abortions in this country, that's 100,000 a month.

I went to two different Starbucks today in Grand Rapids and gave them the little I love Guns and Coffee flyer.  They had "heard" of the boycott but it seems I was the first to ask from either side of it.

Edit:   I stopped by the Starbucks by Metro Hospital on the way home from work and met Steel Magnolia who was being escorted by 2 handsome young men!   :)      I talked to the barista and he said that he had read a letter about the boycott 2 weeks ago but that today was just another day ... business as usual!  I guess the anti-gun boycott hasn't picked up any support in Grand Rapids.    :D
