It joins the 'stable' with my .45 full size XD(m)
Love that one, but it was just too much gun for EDC, especially concealed. The .40 compact sits nicely in my Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe, and I can barely feel it there. I think I'm in heaven!

The weight of the .45 was just too much for me. I find it is just so much more comfortable with the .40c, reduced size and weight.

It makes a difference, I went from a commander lenght steel 1911 .45 ACP as my EDC to a Glock 19 9mm...I cant explain how much more comfortable and lightweight the thing is. amazing what a few ounces will do for you.

Make sure you grab the PEARCE GRIPS pinky mag extender if you need a touch more.... it's tapered to the rear so it doesn't affect concealability much.
