Got my "Blue Card" today! WooHoo!

No more having to unload and case the pistol when I want to drive to/from places where I will OC and no more PFZ's while I OC!  8)

Took Ottawa Co. over 7 weeks...plus my wife and I (she got hers also) had to take the morning off work but it is finally done.

A couple more small steps forward in our 2A freedom fight.

Congrats!  I got mine 2 weeks ago.  Took 5 weeks in Oakland.  I have only

Mine is blue and laminated...not sure if its the new ones, but it looks like a middle schooler made it with some lamination supplies from Office Depot lol

Why can't they be cards like drivers licenses?

I think it must be on a county by county basis.  Mine is a solid piece of Blue Plastic pretty much like a drivers license with the words and picture printed right on/in the plastic card.  No lamination.

It is weird that it isn't standardized

Mine is like cardstock, with the passport photo like hack jobbed trimmed and press together lamination from an office supply store.  The lamination is like atleast 1/4" around each side too big.

Take some scissors and trim it to fit in your wallet and call it a day. The cops are aware that they look like a 4 year old made them in their basements.
Wayne county started giving the new DL looking cards in 2010 I believe. I renewed a few months prior to the change, I have had the old style since 2001 so it isn't an issue.

Jb that is how all the old ones look. my picture is trimmed on all kinds of funky angles, and yeah just cut the extra lamination off so itll fit in your wallet. I think it is  a oakland county thing. my old man got his in oakland county a few weeks before my old lady got hers. his is the old style, hers is the new blue drivers license style one.

sorry i forgot to specify, my old lady got hers in wayne county and my dad got his in oakland.  both were about a year ago
