Hello from GR
« on: December 29, 2012, 12:22:44 PM »
Hello all I was in the Coast Guard 4 years active duty and when I get the money together I want to buy a SIG Dak P229 with a level III safari land holster,I am looking forward to open carrying. When I first looked at this forum I saw everyone talking about how fun it was to OC, when your a LEO OC is not fun it stands for Oleoresin Capsicum or Pepper Spray.  Than I found out OC stands for Open Carry, looking forward to becoming a member and chatting with everyone

Welcome. Check the events area of our forum. Do you live IN the city if GR?

In either case, I hope you'll consider joining our effort there?

Do you have a CPL?

Yeah, I would love to it would be nice to meet someone with firearms experience. I know I want to purchase my SIG DAK P229 .40 S&W but that is the gun we used in the USCG and I am most comfortable with. My father wants to purchase a handgun as well but I am not sure if I should look for other manufactures, both of us are planning on taking the course for CPL

Regards

Ryan

Before you start to OC, read this:

Let us know when you're done. We'll test your knowledge -- because screw ups are easy without a CPL and very costly!

I hope you'll look into getting your CPL very soon.
