OC picnic at Memorial Park in Otsego, MI Oct 6th @ 2PM

Michigan Open Carry, Inc is inviting you to join us for a picnic in the park in Otsego, MI. The park has a small pavilion with tables, more tables scattered about under the trees in shade, 3 grills, 2 playground areas, portable restrooms and baseball/basketball/tennis if you so choose. Events like these are a great way to learn more about open carry or if you have ever wanted to try open carrying but have been nervous this is your chance to start by being around others who will be openly carrying as well. These events are always a good time and if you know someone who is curious about open carry or would just like to come along feel free to bring whoever you would like, these events are open to the public and you need not be a member to join us. Children are also welcome to these events as well, so bring your family, bring your friends and come too what will most likley be the last outdoor event on the west side untill the spring.

Forgot to mention the pavilion only has 2 or 3 tables so depending on how many show up you may want to bring a chair if you have one. And I can bring the following Items

Charcoal
 Grill fork/tongs
 Steaks
 Buger & buns
 Hotdogs & buns
 Ketchup
 Mustard
 Relish
 Assortment of chips

If anyone else comming would like to bring some plates/cups, plasticwear, drinks, and other dishes to pass would be appreciated

Ryan, I got my car back and I noticed I have about half a bag of charcoal in my trunk so I will be bringing that too so we can use that up, if someone could bring drinks that would be spectacular!

Alright adam sounds great.

Well I think it looks like we should have everything we will need, except I didnt see a specific mention up cups, unless Tom ment cups along with plasticwear and plates? or if phil wants to grab some with the drinks, or someone else? Other then that I think we are good to go unless anyone would like to bring anything else to pass. I'm going to try and get there a bit early and get the pavillion, see you all in a couple days!

Yeah I can do cups also. As this is my first picnic, anyone have a suggested number of items? 100- 1,000,000???
Yeahhh, that may be a bit much on the upper end.

You can never have too much but you can always have too little, if you bring 2 packs of solo cups it should cover everyone.  8)

Well I'm going to head up shortly and hold the pavillion. The weather is not optimal but it looks like we will top out at maybe 50 and the clouds look like they may breakup a little bit. What a beautiful fall day 8)

It was a good time and I too want to thank everyone who came out, even if for a short time.  Also all firearms were openly carried in holsters in accordance with state law and the general understanding of open carry in this state.  Had anyone attempted to carry their firearm in their hand they would have been promptly asked to leave as it presents a serious safety risk and MOC leadership is dedicated to ensuring that our events are ran in a safe and lawful manner.
