I don't even remember how I stumbled across this forum and web site, but for the past few weeks have been reading a lot of the good information here and watching the videos. I am not new to firearms, I have been shooting since probably 7 or 8 years old. In college I was a private security officer but state cert law officer and did a lot of plain clothes work so pretty experienced with both conceal and open carry, though only ever open carry in uniform. I have been conceal carry in MI for about 6 years now, but only now starting to explore open carry.
I am very interested in open carry events if there are any in a reasonable proximity to me. I have only seen one posted in the events section in this area.
