WTB (closed) - first Handgun for 19yo
« on: August 08, 2012, 08:19:50 PM »
My son is 19 and will get his first paycheck next week. He is finally looking at carrying and will have about $200-$300. He will also shortly become an MOC member as will I (This week). Anyone have anything that they would consider giving him a break on?

Any helpers?

UPDATE: Due to some research and advice to him, he is going to wait and save for a Glock
rather than start first with something else. He got called for another day of work and this also is helping give him incentive. I would love to do what Pat did below but I can't right now.

Thanks Guys and you can PM him as Idromos if you want.

Luke 22:36 * [Jesus said] ... and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

We all hear John 3:16 or Matthew 7:1 - by people who never read the rest of those chapters either.

My son's first handgun (14th birthday) was a Colt Stainless 1911 Officer's Model. (Not to be confused with brainless1911)
18th Christmas I gave him a Glock23.
A few years ago I gave him a HK USP40.
This year for his birthday I'm giving him a HK USP45.
I gave him a starter pistol when he was 4.
His Officer's Model is his EDC pistol.
