Call around to printing centers: local or national and get quotes for the following:

1. 500 Copies (2-sided)
2. on 40-50 lb glossy paper
3. folded into thirds before delivery
4. Any shipping costs associated with delivery to Monroe, MI

Also get a quote second quote for the same thing, but 2,000 copies

Please post your best price here along with the name, contact information, and website (if applicable) of the printer.

I use Vistaprint.com all the time for color brochures for my business.  I just carted 500 full color glossy two sided for $115 and 2000 for $260.  You can see you go from 23 cents each at 500 to 13 cents each for 2,000.  One trick I do to get them even cheaper is if I really want 2,000, I will only order 1,500 because when you finish checking out it will always give you a second chance offer for 500 more for a much reduced price and no shipping cost on the 2nd chance offer.  All said and done by the time you add shipping then play the little second chance offer game, you will probably come out right to about 13 cents each, which I don't think anyone can beat.

Are you printing the tri-fold PDF handouts, that are to given to people asking about OC?  If so, I would like to get some and am willing to buy them.  FYI I will be joining as a paid member of MOC shortly, and will be traveling to Michigan soon to visit and definitely want to schedule it around an MOC event.  Just went looking for an open carry type holster for my Beretta 92FS and found a beautiful leather one!  That's exciting for me, given that I'm a Texan for the past 20 years (Go Tigers!), and our right to openly carry firearms are severely INFRINGED here.

we are down to under 50 tri folds left, I have the main supply

well I am all for getting more, if we get some other donations

i am checking with both companies listed and will post who I am going with once i get actual pricing, ect and final approval from the other board members

I think the worry in the begining was to order small in case sb59 goes through, but with snyder stalling it, it may be a while before its signed.

I agree with the 500 then.  We already have more than enough new money for that.  Plus, although I'm sure any printer would be fine, it does let us see the quality of what we're buying before we commit to several thousand.
