At its July 16 meeting, the board voted to send a letter to state Sen. John Pappageorge and state Rep. Chuck Moss, asking them to consider a bill that would add libraries to the list of places that are exempt from the open carry law. That list currently includes banks, places of worship, courts, theaters, sports arenas, day care centers, hospitals and bars.

They wouldn't be the first to try to add libraries to the list of PFZs.  CADL is the reason the bill got introduced.  Funny thing is, assuming both these bills passed it would still leave the "Open Carry" loohole for ppl w/ a CPL to carry in Libraries.

He's a Republican and not interested in gun control.  Good to know. :)

I noticed that too. They could get everything they want and it still wouldn't solve their "problem". Especially if SB 59 passes.
