Nice, way to leave us hanging. That's like saying "the police beat me up for OCing but I am not telling you where".

Pretty much same design as last time. Small logo near heart, big logo on back.

No joy in Okemos tonight.  I thought everyone had agreed to the "less is more" approach with nice looking dress shirts.  Small, understated logo.  Oh well...

If you attend our monthly meetings, you would know that the embroidery on the dress shirts fell through. ;)

New logo was abandoned back in December January -- as discussed at the leadership meeting.

Hey, a couple of months ago you asked me if I was available to meet online and I said, "yes."  You never got back with me on how to join the meeting electronically.  Last month I was 1,500 miles away guarding the border from Pablo Acosta's successors.

Not sure what email you are referring to. ???  9:00 PM?  But that will interfere with the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC!  And she's my favorite!

Cross-posted from another thread here.  This thread is more appropriate.

+++++

I wear OCDO golf shirts at work (as well as Browning, Smith & Wesson, and Sig Arms button down shirts).  I've had many people comment on them, both company employees as well as potential contractors that I may hire and ones that I do.  All positive.  And because they are all tasteful collared shirts I can wear them in a business environment.  I'll wear a white, tailored french-cuff shirt one day, and a firearms shirt the next.

I can't wear an MOC t-shirt with a huge-ass logo on the front and back, though.  Unless I go to Wal*Mart, which I don't.

We can make t-shirts, or we can make dress shirts.  Where do we want to be?  My opinion, for us making money on shirts should not be the priority.  Good exposure should.

(We can make both).

CafePress isn't the only place to get custom logo gear.  It's just pedestrian.  General Motors uses places that have much higher quality but the prices seem about the same.  Thicker shirts, embroidery instead of silkscreen, etc.

If you have an idea, research it thoroughly, especially cost and quality, and bring it to our monthly leadership meeting. Mention it to me before the meeting and we'll slip it into New Business.

Is there a waiting list?

If so, please put me on it.

Also, I'm with gryphon on this one. I would love to wear a MOC polo shirt at work as it is a professional environment. (lots of other egg-headed engineers  ;D)

However, as I have not partaken in the meetings, my opinion now is somewhat late. For future reference though, polo MOC shirts would be nice.

MOC is not rolling in the $$$ unfortunately  :-[ We have not abandoned the Polo T-Shirt idea, however due to cost it is easier to order regular T-Shirts with the MOC logo, for now.  Also, as TheQ has stated, the embroidering fell through for the Polo shirts, if you know of a place that will make the embroidered polo shirts for an affordable price email board@miopencarry.org.

The Polo T-Shirt design has not been thrown out the window, more so put on the back burner until we can find an affordable...reliable...way to have them made.

I have used www.customink.com several times and no issues, prices are fair and they work with you on the design, they also make it easy to order with no hidden fees. They also set it up so you can put it on your facebook page and allow others to pick their sizes and what not.
