A customer turns vigilante during an armed robbery at a Coney Island in Detroit.

What a tool. Fox2 is the most anti-self defense station in the country.

They'd rather have a story about a mass shooting that to report accurately about an average person saving numerous lives.

I wonder if they know that a law abiding citizen using a firearm defensively to protect lives is different than someone being a vigilante...they probably dont.  Besides, vigilante will get better ratings.

It's not the first time Fox 2 has used the term in reference to SD.

Why did God let them rob the place to begin with?

But isn't everything preordained according to God's will?

Yes.
Then it won't matter what I do because the result has already been determined. How does that give me free will?

Apparently if you stick your stainless 1911 (not to be confused with...) to your head and pull the trigger you won't die if God hasn't ordained it as your time?

Is ocdetroit volunteering to test this theory?

Maybe.

Jack Lucas jumped on not one but two grenades to save his friends.

And lived.

I'm just questioning that everything is God's will. Except of course when it's not a good thing. Then it's free will. Which is it? I just don't understand. I like to discuss open carry. But every so often there are these theological questions that pop up. I'd rather research religious matters on Jim Baker's website. Or Jimmy Swaggert's.

I'm just questioning that everything is God's will.

Some might have different opinions, but here is mine.  Everything that happens is NOT God's will.  It was not God's will that Adam and Eve did wrong, but God gave them free will and they chose poorly.  It was NOT God's will that Cain killed Abel, or that David took the wife of one of his army commanders, then sent him to the front lines where he would likely be killed.  There a lot of things that happen that are NOT God's will, what He would want us to do, but because He gave us free will to choose for ourselves, we sometimes choose poorly.

That does not mean that God doesn't know what will happen, as I believe God is omniscient.  So while I believe He would not have man do bad things, he knows man will.

Some people have described it as His perfect will--what He would like to happen, and His permissive will--what He allows to happen.

The Bible says that it is not God's will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  Sadly, not all will.

I don't know if this clears anything up for you.
