Reading up on this bill seems itll help out getting rid of Michigan Gun Boards, and move the process to the Sheriffs office, and SOS. Thankfully i just renewed so if it passes, ill be good while they get systems in order.

One thing i keep reading is that it allows you to Conceal Carry ANYWHERE so long its not posted(private trumps statelaw). But have to take additional 9hr class and that will deem you and upgraded status on your CPL.

Well Currently Michgan CPL holders can Legally already Open Carry in them PFZ so long your CPL is current and not expired and its not posted by owner. Is this going to stay in effect if SB59 passes or are they going to go back and say no more Open carry in PFZ for CPL holders.

I hate these bills that only address Conceal carry, but never address open carry for CPL holders!
