Interesting letter to the editor following the recent shooting in Albuquerque.  This appeared in today's Albuquerque Journal.

I'd like to hope Leader wrote that, but the author probably believes it.

I think that article should be forwarded to Obama & crew.

Police with no weapons and asking people to do things nicely would be a GREAT idea.

yet criminals with guns would just shoot the unarmed police. think detroit. there are tons of illegal guns on the streets. unarmed cops = more cops dead. they are armed to be able to meet deadly force with deadly force.

cop shows up on scene with a batone and taser. perp pulls a AK 47 out. cop is dead.... i dont see that going over well

Disarming government agents in the DEA, Department of Ed, and others is a great start. Seriously...

:yeahthat: Plus a whole bunch of other folks who have no business carrying a firearm as part of their job. Tends to make them forget things like the 4th and 5th amendments and that can lead to ugly problems.
