Open Carry friendly business question..
« on: December 26, 2012, 03:08:22 PM »
I was just looking at the open carry friendly business listing. I noticed a Walmart is on the list.. Am I wrong in assuming that even though they are "open carry friendly", it's still illegal to OC in an establishment that has a liquor license? If I recall that store correctly, they have three aisles of varying types of alcohol... Please forgive me if this has been addressed, just haven't searched on the forum enough to find my answer.

Thanks!

It is not illegal to carry in an establishment that has a liquor licence, but to carry there you must have a valid CPL.
I'm sure others will get into the details or point you where to look for this info.
Please others, help a man out.
The answers are indeed here.

I appreciate the quick response! Just a note for those who OC and do not have a CPL, Don't do it!!! The list is a little deceiving for those new to the OC life. If you look at the list at face value and don't know the exact specifics, you could be in some serious hot water. Again thanks for the info!
