Illinois' 2nd District

See if you can follow this. You might need a pen and paper to draw a diagram.

In 1980, voters elected Gus Savage as Congressman. Savage said only whites are capable of racism. And he called-out "racist Jews" who donated to his opponent. A 1990 investigation concluded Savage tried to force himself on a woman during a Congressional junket. Yet, House officials chose not to punish him.

Savage was defeated in the 1992 Democratic primary by Mel Reynolds. In 1994, Reynolds was indicted for statutory rape of a 16-year old. He was easily reelected. He resigned after he was convicted of 12 counts of sexual assault, obstruction of justice, rape, and child pornography. Reynolds served time in state prison. Then in federal prison for 15 counts of bank fraud and lying to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

He was pardoned by President Bill Clinton and immediately, with the assignment to keep black people out of prison, went to work for Jesse Jackson.

Whose son, Jesse Jackson, Jr. was elected to the seat in a 1995 special election. He was easily reelected this year even though he was hospitalized for a mental disorder. He resigned weeks ago reporting he is now under an ethics investigation.

The leading candidate to replace Jackson is Donne Trotter who was arrested days ago for attempting to bring a handgun on a commercial flight. Trotter is a staunch gun control advocate. His main opponent for the seat? Convicted felon and rapist Mel Reynolds.

What. The. F**k?!?!?     Seriously.

This is just as confusing as the info that I just found out about Piers Morgan and his role no only in the phone scandal in england, but also was sacked from his editorial job for using fake photos in a story....

It's called "Illinois".  The reason the politicians don't allow people to own/possess guns is because they are all crooks themselves.  They project their own criminality on to the population as a whole.

I just found out Piers Morgan...was sacked from his editorial job for using fake photos in a story.

Yeah, I posted that on one of the forums.  Not only fake photos, but photos that were specifically designed to disparage, demean, and debase the British military.

He got fired for knowingly using false photographs in an attempt to portray the British military in a bad light, then CNN eagerly hired him.  What a surprise, eh?  What does that tell you about CNN?
