Despite the lack of firearms, Jamaica had over 1,000 murders last year.

This is a serious concern for the whole country, as the ratio seen for murders is very high. They can't stop it just by banning guns and putting people in jail. They need to organize awareness camps for children and elders to make them understand the importance of living fearless and peaceful society.
