I like it.  Better then the ones on straps that actually end up hanging down.

I received the holster from a coworker, it was an OWB holster, plastic type, not sure of brand. I used the small bolts that came with it and hard mounted to to the truck. It STUCK there.

I have seen styles around and liked the idea but expensive and may have been a gamble on being a good fit for the vehicle.

Free holster and some free time. Don't mind my slippers in the pic, lol.

What do you think a LEO would say or do when say, they approached the passenger side and seen it there. Any experiences?

I have one that straps up in the same manner. Took some work to get it to hang right without sagging but I like it and with the level 2 retention I'm not so worried about getting pistol whipped with my own gun in a crash. As far as the LEO goes, as long as you don't reach for it they should be fine. It's not in a place you would reach during a stop anyways and I think it's a hell of a lot better then having it on the seat, glove box, ect.

I think it looks stupid and is a terrible idea.  SInce I"m so nice, I can dispose of it for you.....     ;D

What model Glock is that?  What holster is it if you're able to identify it... looks like it works pretty slick.    I would recommend some sort of retention though... that sucker is a 2lb missile if you get in a wreck....

Most wrecks involve sudden jolts forward.  This would involve that gun not moving....

I would disagree with that.  Even if you rear ended someone there's a good chance of you spinning around when you impact.   I'm just sayin, I would use something that had some sort of retention, even if it was just a pressure screw.

Glad to hear I shouldn't have much to worry about if a LEO sees it. I have always been curious.

As for the brand, I cannot find any marks to distinguish what it might be. But it does use screws on the side of it, in front of the trigger guard that is used to adjust the retention; so like METL said, "..a pressure screw." It is in there nice and snug, no worries of it moving without MY hand removing it.

The Glock model is the 23C (compact .40 w/ factory compensator).

I wonder what that compensator would do to a hot dog or a chicken wing...  :)
