About 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, an armed robber entered Leddy's Candy Store at 15928 Grand River and demanded cash from the 54-year-old owner, who is licensed to carry a concealed firearm.
He produced his weapon and fatally shot the intruder, who was about 40 years old.
