Hello, I'm Steve. I grew up in Owosso but now live in Kalamazoo. I just purchased my first handgun, a s&w mp pro .40. Planning on some training and education before I open carry.

There are a few of us in the area, I'm in Battle Creek. If you ever want to get together with some experienced OCers just post a day, time, and place and you'll likely get a couple of takers.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I am thinking about taking the cpl class in April. After all that comes back i would enjoy meet some of you local oc'ers. Currently I carry around the house but dont leave the yard. To be honest it feels strange to carry a loaded gun that i dont intend to shoot. Goes against everything grandpa taught me.
