Detroit Film Theatre
« on: June 13, 2010, 12:49:49 PM »
Went with my girlfriend and OCed at the Detroit Film Theatre last night. [You know, the movie theater attached to the DIA?]

We went to see the full-length version of 'Metropolis', which is this silent movie made in the '20s. They didn't think an uncut version existed until a few years ago, they found an old 16mm reel in Buenos Aires somewhere, the film was kind of damaged but it added like 25 minutes to the film... anyway, to the point:

A few strange looks from people, but nobody said anything, and the movie was pretty good, if not very weird.
