Rick Ecktor is a NRA certified firearms instructor in the Detroit area and has trained thousands of people both men and woman on how to use a firearm for self-defense. He is the owner of Rick’s Firearm Training academy of Detroit. His goal is to train every law abiding person in the Detroit area because he feels strongly that firearms in the right hands makes us all safer.

Rick is a strong defender of the 2nd amendment and an author of the book: How to get a Michigan Concealed Pistol License.
He has a blog called Legally Armed In Detroit. He is the Detroit area correspondent for the Urban Shooter podcast with Kenn Blanchard.
