Last weeks show can be seen here. We had trouble with the server and the show is in three parts. Stickam kept kicking us out so we had to refresh. Enjoy. And remember you can email us comments or ideas for topics at sas@citizensleaguesd.com

Next SAS show is this Saturday at 1:00 PM.

To see some recent shows go here. http://www.stickam.com/videoSearch.do

Future show can be found here as well http://capedconservative.com/?q=talkshow

Nate and I also do a political talk show on Spreaker.com http://www.spreaker.com/user/atodds. It’s called AT ODDS and should be a weekly ½ hour show. It will be pre-recorded but we are looking for guests to be on the show. If you want to be on the show contact us at ao@capedconservative.com

We are also looking for sponsors to advertise on either show. If you have a product or a message you want to have us talk about on either show let us know. Our rates are reasonable and our shows are posted on several social media sites. It’s an excellent way to get your message out and it won’t cost an arm and a leg. Although we will barter for body parts.

Will be excited to listen to the recorded version as I am currently somewhere where I have no cell phone service, although my Verizon MiFi works (although it keeps telling me I am roaming and says something about extra charges for out of country data.  I think I am hitting towers in Mexico, which makes sense as I have an old 2G CDMA link and it keeps dropping connection).

Well the owner wont keep the posts up to date.  We keep getting disconnected from stickam during our show.  Nate and I are about ready to stop doing the show on FTR and just do them ourselves through Spreaker.com  They wont be live, we would record them and post.

For the latest SAS shows save this link for stickam and look for our show.  As you can see our last show is in 12 parts one for each time we got disconnected.  This sucked because we had the most people we ever had in the chat.  They were great as most would refresh and stayed with us.  Thanks for that. http://www.stickam.com/videoPlaylist.do?uId=175398425

That is what we do with AT ODDS.  Our four AT ODDS show are here.  http://www.spreaker.com/user/atodds

Wow, the Shootout was painful to listen to in twelve out-of-order pieces. :(

Canadians are about the same as zombies. LOL.

In re the Trijicon ACOGs with the Bible verses: you may know this, although you didn't mention it, but all the Bible verses quoted have to do with "light."  Scope, light...  Of course, the original owner (now deceased) was a strong Christian.  If my memory is correct, Trijicon stopped putting those on the ones sold to the military, but I think the civilian ones might still have them, although I could be wrong.  I'd have to double-check, it's been a while.  As you know, this is an old controversy.  Why did this come up in the show? I don't remember you saying, other than the old optics are still in use.  I'm sure they are.  The military won't throw away old M16 magazines until they absolutely have to.  They're not going to toss expensive ACOGs. Those things are over $1,000 each.  Made in Wixom, MI, too!

I have listened to most of the At Odds episodes.  One comment about the "holding a pistol sideways" argument. I have a friend who was in Nam in '67-'68.  In fact his forward base was overrun in the Tet offensive.  Interesting story.  Anyway, he tells me the Army used to teach that gangsta style quick shooting.  He carried a .38 revolver (I believe) along with his M16.  So we go shooting at the range and he can't hit the broad side of a barn holding it sideways, and he says he can't understand it.  He's in a wheelchair now, so maybe that has some bearing on it, I don't know.  Anyway, I tried confirming that the military taught this sideways point-and-shoot method in the late 60's by talking to older guys, but I never was able to find anyone who could confirm they were also taught this method.

Our problem with getting cut off is fixed, so the show should be continuous now.

Nate talked me into a show this Saturday, so if you are still eating leftovers, make a sandwich, grab a beer and listen and call-in at 1:00 PM at Flink Talk Radio.

We will discuss a bit about the IL Cook County tax and about the 10 Illinois counties that vote pro-gun.  News about the wounded warriors, a Florida handgun training facility where the targets shoot back, the trouble with tannerite, and a Florida Supreme Court case on guns and RAS, plus some political stuff and more.  So join the chat and enjoy.

Next show is this Saturday December 8th.  We have received a donation of several gift cards from a strong 2nd Amd. supporter that is in the battle for the long run.  He/she wants to be anonymous.

Cards are for Wall-Mart, subway, starbucks, etc.  Nate and are not sure how will give them out, but it may be first caller, or have a drawing of callers or do the SHOOT US DOWN where you ask us a Michigan Law questions and if we get it wrong you win.

So tune in at 1:00 pm at www.flinttalkradio.com

It's for callers only and live.  we want to encourage people to call in.  It's more interesting and easier to discuss with a caller than on a chat.  It is a talk show.  And we appreciate all who listen to the show later, but a live interaction is more entertaining for those that listen later.

Thanks to everyone for watching whenever you do.

Well Flint talk radio is switching to USTREAM which doesn't have a chat that isn't easy to join, so you can watch it on ustream and call in to join in the show..
We will talk about SB-59
