Why were they not locked up? Time to give some jail time and make the owner answer some questions.

That's my home town.  I stop into Schupbach's occasionally to buy ammo.

The article doesn't specify pistols or long guns, they have both.  How many stores put long guns into a safe every night?  I don't know what they do as there is little to no visibility into the store when it is closed.
When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. Luke 11:21

Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one."  Luke 22:36

If they don't get put into a safe at night then they get locked to the wall. Seen a ton of stores that do this but most put them in safes. Looks like this store was doing as little next to nothing to keep them secure if someone could just pull a smash and grab.

Time to give some jail time

Who are you advocating jail time for?

Indeed. Inquiring minds want to know.

And so does my flamethrower, should the answer be incorrect.
