switch to OC after you get in

I wonder the legalities or the wisdom of switching to OC after you get in a PFZ that you are legal to carry. Obviously when you walk into a PFZ where a representative of the establishment might stop you then you CC. Once past them you switch to OC still legally. private property rights aside what laws would apply here?MOC

Are you asking the legality of CCing "just enough to get past the owner/representative?"  Once you leave the parking lot and enter the premises, you must OC to be legal.  If you CC for just a little while, you would be illegal for just that little while.

The only way for this to be legal is if you had permission from the owner to CC and in that case you wouldn't need to get past anyone. It would also have to be in one of the PFZs where you are able to gain permission.

Only place you can get such permission from is a church.  The owner/operator cannot grant this permission for sport stadiums, entertainment facility, schools, daycares, hospital, college/uni dorm/classroom, or casinos.

See MCL 28.425o.

yes it was answered. my original thought was more for places where CC and OC were both legal. i know it was kind of a sneaky move and probably not received well by establishments but it warranted asking. this thought crossed my mind after entering a few places CC and wondered why i couldn't just switch to OC after i got in. thanks

If they don't want me there, I want to know up front.  Just my opinion.
When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. Luke 11:21

Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one."  Luke 22:36

See this post for good reasons why you shouldn't carry or patronize where you aren't welcome:
