"What about nails?  Would you ban nails?"

"It's something to think about."

Seriously?!? I can't believe he is so ingrained in rhetoric that he doesn't realize what he is saying.

When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. Luke 11:21

Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one."  Luke 22:36

I think with modern technology we shouldn't even have blades on lawnmowers.  A criminal could take the blade off a lawnmower and use it to cause harm to others.

This message brought to you by large amounts of sarcasm.

Scary part is I know folks who would agree with him.  ???  Their ability to give a sound and factual basis for their reasoning is crap as is his (they hard to reclassify violence in the UK to hide the amount of gun violence that still happens here). This is a nutter, total and complete nutter. I truly don't know what to do with those kinds of folks other then pat them on the head and offer them the special almond cookies.  ;D  -Michael
