A federal judge has reportedly ruled that a U.S. Postal Service regulation banning firearms in its parking lots violates the Second Amendment.

correct. the judge also upheld the ban on carry inside the building.

Someone could also attempt to take the firearm from its lawful carrier and use it for criminal purpose."


it's the same BS we always here from the anti's, now the judges are using it to make rulings, even though there is no evidence to back up such ridiculous claims.

I've been following this case it seems like forever.  Finally a decision.  Even though Q points out that technically this is not binding in Michigan, I think you'd have a pretty good defense to say what the post office must allow in a huge part of the country doesn't apply to the rest.

You are looking at it from a customer point of view, think of where the term "going postal" comes from.
