JACKSON, MI – As part of an ongoing effort to move toward a system without paper, Jackson County District Court judges now can electronically authorize search warrants.
All four judges have iPads and cell phones and can use the devices to sign warrants when police officers need them quickly, while in the midst of an investigation, or after normal business hours, Chief District Judge R. Darryl Mazur said.
