Hi everyone! A little background info:
I'm 25 and looking into open carry in the future. My gf and I are signed up for a cpl course later this month (I'm the last male in my family not to have one lol). We have been together for almost 4 years but our first Christmas together I got her into shooting rifles (she had never handled a firearm before) and got her a nice little Marlin 795. A few weeks later we hit the range and a few of the guys there let her shoot about a half of dozen pistols and she got hooked on getting a handgun, shes been on my butt about getting a cpl so we signed up at the last local gun show.
I'm on the slim side so I suspect I will eventually open carry simply for the comfort over CC. Anyways, I've followed a few threads on here but haven't got serious about thinking about it until recently.
Another thing, is anyone here part of the MVDF or Michigan Militia? I'm interested in learning a bit more about them as well!
