Hey everyone, new guy from Washtenaw. Currently out in the sandbox but I will be coming home for good sometime next spring.  I just purchased my first handgun and am so tired of hearing our rights threatened,  looking forward to participating in the cause when I am home.  There are just too many people that are scared of firearms who need to be educated; especially in my area ( cough cough... Ann Arbor...)

I am on a civilian contract for the Army, so I can leave whenever I like.  I intend on staying at least until January, but maybe as late as May.  And it can't come soon enough!

We have a son who's been to the other nearby sandbox (Iraq) twice.  I don't know what you do there, but it seems like every job--from military to civilian--sucks.  Hope you make it back home when you want to.  Welcome from Okemos. :)
