Hello All!
I'm a member from Clinton County, who is excited to join the Michigan Open Carry Forums!
I have been around firearms my entire life, since a very early age. As such I'm a sportsmen at heart, who is also an NRA member and a staunch supporter of second amendment rights. If I have ammunition, you can almost certainly find me either in the woods or at the local range. If you can name an animal, I have probably hunted it or trapped it for their fur. Mostly, Raccoon, Deer, Coyote, Bobcat and Bear. I also love firearm history and collecting firearms.
I'm not a stranger to open carrying, since I hunt. However, open carrying in public, such as a town or a restaurant, is new to me. I received my CPL in 2011 and I use it quite often, especially when traveling. I believe that I may start open carrying in public more often though!
