Hello from Kuwait!

Hey everyone, new guy from Washtenaw. Currently out in the sandbox but I will be coming home for good sometime next spring.  I just purchased my first handgun and am so tired of hearing our rights threatened,  looking forward to participating in the cause when I am home.  There are just too many people that are scared of firearms who need to be educated; especially in my area ( cough cough... Ann Arbor...)

I am on a civilian contract for the Army, so I can leave whenever I like.  I intend on staying at least until January, but maybe as late as May.  And it can't come soon enough!

We have a son who's been to the other nearby sandbox (Iraq) twice.  I don't know what you do there, but it seems like every job--from military to civilian--sucks.  Hope you make it back home when you want to.  Welcome from Okemos. :)

Welcome from Erie. Watch out for the sand fleas, scorpions, camel spiders, and snakes. And the radical natives too. Stay safe and return home whole!

Thanks everyone.  Ezerharden I have been here for 8 months,  and the worst part above the giant spiders, scorpions and uncomfortable laws we have to abide by is just the heat and dust!  Ill take Michigan winters over this anyday.

Understand that. Spent 9 months there myself, like being at the beach when the tide was out, by about 150 miles ;)
