Hi.  I've had a CPL since 2001 but was never too much interested in open carry.  I've been watching a lot of youtube videos and it's something I am now VERY interested in pursuing...at least on occasion. 

I'm the most interested in being able to open carry in "pistol free zones" with my CPL.  I'm expecting some issues in Midland as I see this year Midland High School has posted "Weapon Free Zone" signs out front.  Of course I was expecting a hassle even without those signs but that makes it a bit stickier in  my opinion.

Anyways, long time shooter and pro-gun advocate but more of a forum lurker.  Hopefully I've found a community that I can participate in a bit.

Thanks!  Glad to be here.  I'm currently considering the risks of attempting open carry at my local school with cpl although I'm a bit concerned.  I have a lot more reading and pondering to do....
