ATTENTION Participants... NO OPEN WEAPONS CARRY!
« on: June 30, 2010, 10:57:48 PM »

http://www.muskegonbiketime.com/

This event is being hosted by the "Downtown Muskegon" non-profit, which is primarily owned by the City of Muskegon and the Chamber of Commerce.

You OCing bikers might want to take a nice bike ride to Muskegon!

BTW, ZZZ is the one who told me about this...

They don't think... that is the problem!
Anything I post may be my opinion and not the law... you are responsible to do your own verification.

Blackstone (1753-1765) maintains that "the law holds that it is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer."

http://www.muskegonbiketime.com/   I went to this page, and saw a contact tab. Is there a member with knowledge of state law, that could write them and ask where their authority to ban open carry on public property derives? Conceal carry is acceptable to them during the event? How about open carry before/after the event? Are there any other Rights that they object to?

I filled this out yesterday.  I let them know that their advisory of no open weapon carry was unenforceable and that MOC was aware and weighing options. ;)
Adapted from Hillary: I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're in a hate group or a domestic terrorist. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration."
