I used to be an avid Appalachian Trail backpacker, often taking two backpack trips a year. If you've ever wondered what hiking/backpacking the AT was like, the following short "film" Green Tunnel documents a six month journey along the 2,200 mile long Appalachian Trail, condensed and reinterpreted into four minutes of stop-motion. A lot of the trail is necessarily omitted, of course, but it is really fun and does give a good representation of hiking the AT. You should, of course, view it full screen. Enjoy.
