I found trouble in AA
« on: October 27, 2013, 08:36:12 PM »
Thank you for a very enjoyable evening at Skyline.
I am curious to know whether you noticed one of the parents(?) or family members was carrying an open pistol at the event or not.  He was very casual about it contrary to number of parents I talked to.
If you did notice, could you identify that person?

Thank you,
Sahba

Watch your six AA, they are going to give you a really mean look, or something once you have been identified by "them". Well done - as you will note there is no mention of people running for cover or screaming "what's the number for 911..?? He's got a GUN!" 8)

I'm curious as to how you came into possession of this email?

How did find out that people are trying to get your name?

I am pleased to see that several people have understood the OP. I reread it sixteen times and still couldn't make any sense of it.

I could write something cliché and insightful, but that would be too cliché and insightful.

I believe it was in relation to this:

http://forums.michiganopencarry.org/index.php/topic,3109.msg26564.html#msg26564
That may well be, but I'm still not sure if I understand.  Let me deconstruct it.

I am curious to know whether you noticed one of the parents(?) or family members was carrying an open pistol at the event or not.
OP asks if anyone else noticed that someone else besides himself was also openly carrying a holstered pistol at Skyline High School.

OP states that, in his observation, the other carrier was behaving calmly.  However, all of the other parents he talked to said the other carrier was acting crazy, brandishing his pistol around and generally threatening the welfare of the greater community of Ann Arbor.

Did I get that right?

Did I get that right?

I got a very tasty Baklava recipe out of it.

For real though I basically got....  ^Does anyone know who it was that was carrying a pistol, all of the other people there noticed it and I was wondering if you knew who that person was?^

What about the other parents who thought the person wasn't carrying calmly?

Well, I am on a school e-mail list for the music and principal's list.    The person is on the same list that I am.    My post on OC in Ann Arbor was the night of the event.   The e-mail came the weekend after the event.     I have not had any calls from the school.   I should have watched the officer to see who he was talking too.    He acted like a referee for the first hour.   My buddy for the last 2, Oh well.

I just discovered that the person that wrote the e-mail is an Ann Arbor council person.
