Good Publicity for MOC
« on: December 18, 2013, 05:24:13 PM »
I attended a State of Michigan security training session recently, and Michigan Open Carry was brought up extensively. The trainer was extremely knowledgeable about Open Carry laws, and even cited the Recent MOC vs CADL ruling. He also talked about his (positive) interactions with MOC surrounding the capitol. He then had the MOC website on his PowerPoint presentation. GOOD JOB FELLAS!

Being a state employee and emergency monitor, I've been to similar training sessions. When OC gets brought up, half the room looks at me -- it's rather embarrassing.

You guys were able to answer them all and never made me feel dumb for asking. I couldnt be happier to be a member here. Excellent job guys!

I'm very happy to hear of your good experience.

What attracted me to MOC was a polite, knowledgeable and accessible leadership. I have not experienced another organization that does these things to the level of MOC, and to be clear, I'm not saying they should. MOC operates in a unique way and it was because of these things, that I felt I could make a difference through MOC.

Carry on.

Oh Tom -- the only limit to the difference you can make in this org is you. ;)

I look forward to hearing back from you...
