There's only one Meijer in the Grand Rapids area where I'd be hesitant of carrying.  But in time I'm sure I'll make a stop there.

Huh?  You mean the prices aren't uniform across all Meijer stores?  I thought they were.

I agree, sounds like an urban legend to me.

Not sure if you guys are being sarcastic or not.  But stores do it all the time.  They set prices based on their core customer economic demographic.  This is also why ads included in newspapers and junk mail are distributed by area.

No, we're serious.  At least I am.  I had no idea I would pay more for a gallon of milk or carton of eggs at one Meijer over another.

We should come up with a list of 5 - 10 common items and have a few volunteers go check it out at a couple of different stores.  I might volunteer to go to the infamous store at 28th and Kalamazoo to compare pricing.

happens with all stores.  I'm sure even Walmart does the same thing.  I would love to see prices compared at Cascade Meijer vs Kalamazoo/28th Meijer

Product selection varies amongst stores too.

In Waterford, I could get thai rice noodles and almost any Indian simmer sauce you can think of.  Mason Meijer... nope.
