Smartphone OC/CC resources
« on: December 28, 2013, 04:47:37 PM »
I embrace technology when ever I can. Many of us have smartphones.  I am wondering if you are using any applications or reference sheets that help you stay abreast or keep you up to date with different state laws and/or keeping abreast of MOC or even misc 2A topics.

Now I know these applications should not be used as a "legal" reference.  I use them as a reminder per se.  It's a "refresh my memory" type of thing.  I'd never show these references on my phone to try to convince owners, managers, or astray LEOs.

I currently use:
Tapatalk for Android to keep up with MOC and OCDO forums
Legal Heat (for Android) - allows me to look up OC, CC, and transportation laws by state. Gives me an opinion of how gun friendly certain states are when it comes to CC and OC separately.
LG Voice recorder or video camera on my LG G2 for recording conversations

What do you use?  What helps you out?

Has the problem of being able to lock your phone while Qik is running been resolved?

I'm having trouble with Tapatalk. Nothing happens when I tap it on the table. Is there an update I'm missing?

what do you mean by "tap it on the table"?  I have Tapatalk Pro, not the free one.  The biggest thing I cannot do is successfully reply to a thread.

Anything I post may be my opinion and not the law... you are responsible to do your own verification.

Blackstone (1753-1765) maintains that "the law holds that it is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer."
