I knew it would be a good idea to openly carry my holstered sidearm because of my cities violent reputation and the fact I would be alone and walking after dark.

That also makes me suspicious

Also why did he turn to the cop car lol or put his hands up right away. He was doing nothing wrong. Also seems odd to call a cop car a "cruiser" if you arent a LEO.

Im willing to bank on this being a troll post or a LEO awaiting our replies

Did he die?
I could write something cliché and insightful, but that would be too cliché and insightful.

Comcast address.
There are some tools available that will resolve to a city.  Best I can find on what you posted is IL.

there are many things that can be done with an IP addrress :)

that particular block is owned by communist cable service and is serviceing joliet IL

without the last octet thats all i can find. any more probing besides what we have done and there could be legal issues. right now we just tracked a location of a public IP owned by comcast. nothing unethical or illegal about that. just getting a service area for a block of IP addresses

I doubt that without a court order that last octet would help much.

Since it's not for a datacenter, most likely not a proxy. Notice the caveat though.

I'm calling this one as a troll.

There is no concerns of taking any legal action or going any further with anything.
I was just in search of some insight on this situation and what anyone else had to share about anything that has happened to them.

People typically come to websites like this website seeking information about situations that they have either witnessed or been through themselves. One would like to think that if he or she looks to a discussion like this, he or she might meet like minded individuals who could help either by adding some well valued information or adding their own stories.
However, this seems to be the exact opposite and a minor annoyance.
Thank you.   8)

How can we help when you won't answer any questions?  For example, WHAT WERE YOUR ARREST CHARGES?

I notice some striking similarities...
http://forums.michiganopencarry.org/index.php/topic,1783.msg13311.html#msg13311

I don't really see that many similarities, but OK, if you really want to play that game, since my encounter was, in fact, a genuine encounter (theQ can verify); wouldn't that just make you look like a fool if the O.P. turned out to be genuine as well?

(I'm beginning to see why you're banned from other forums.)

I think people get suspicious if a person's first post is how they were roughed up by the cops and they don't provide details.

If the OP is genuine, he should see the stickies for a few recommended lawyers.
