The Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2014

Not sure it will get anywhere, but would allow carry in NY and CA and IL... if you have a permit from another state.

How would it work for AZ & VT, which are constitutional carry states?

If it passes, the Senate would not override the veto.

I don't like it. States rights, yada yada.

Driver's licenses are recognized through a compact all 50 states have signed. CPLs should be the same way. Keep the Feds out

I'm with Q on this. The last time the US House tried this, I was against it. There is also the problem of it leaves the door open for more control. If we say the Feds can control this, what else can they control?

I agree with Q and having read the article it is dishonest, as while driver's licenses are by compact recognized, not al marriage documents of each of the states is recognized by all the other states. This smells of federal over reach and not a good thing at all. -Michael
