typically the police should knock loudly and say" ***** sheriff department, we have a warrant to search the permises... or something along those lines. they did a stealth entry where they didnt announce themselves.

Even if they did "announce" themselves as they broke in, it still wouldn't matter.

You think a criminal couldn't just announce themselves as law enforcement and wear the gear?
