What are your thoughts on this? A woman finds a masked person on her porch in the middle of the night with a machete and a shotgun. I can honestly say I would have probably handled it a little different.

I could write something cliché and insightful, but that would be too cliché and insightful.

What is an ordinance thief?  Sounds like the woman handled it correctly.  Although I wouldn't have kept raising and lowering my gun.

What amazes me is the way Channel 8 handled this story! They actually sounded like... Hmmm..  A LAC with a gun,  and having that gun saved their lives!! Usually they are more Anti than that.
