If you want to see what my conversation was like last night. Take a look at the comments here:

http://rightmi.com/falsities-about-sb789-being-spread/
She keeps posting the same comment. Like if I read it enough I'll go "Oh gee whiz I just changed my mind. The ex-sheriff isn't a power hungry thug."

I will be on Your Defending Fathers this morning around 10:15 to talk about SB 789 which is being heard in committee again today.

SB 789 will provide a number of needed CPL process reforms like eliminating county gun boards and reducing the application fee to $90.

MOC fully supports SB 789.

Apparently I missed you. I turned it on at 10:20 and listened for almost 30 minutes and you weren't on.  :(

Tom did a pretty good job I thought dispelling any potential concerns with the bill.

What time zone are we talking about.  ;D

I clicked on http://patriotvoice.net/yourdefendingfathers/ and a small, black player was in the top right of the screen. I clicked on it and it played for ten minutes or so then stopped.  So then I clicked on the "not working" link and it popped over to a different page with different players and said "listen live."  Maybe the player on the home page played some recorded podcast thing?

Maybe we should have used the http://patriotvoice.net/listenlive/ link?

I guess not, I have to keep hitting play every 2 seconds and it's driving me nuts. I gave up.

I had the same problem with Firefox. It works in IE for me. I knew I left IE installed for a reason.

My laptop is incapable of running Internet Exploder.  Firefox and Epiphany are my browsers.

I'll use Iceweasel, but mostly just because it's what allows me to access CaC protected sites.

So where does this bill stand?

It's still in committee, but it has been replaced with substitute S-1

It was reported out of the Judiciary Committee to the Committee of the Whole. From there it will go to the floor for (hopefully) a vote from the entire Senate. Then over to the House.
